Discounted High Speed Internet

Some families have trouble making ends meet but they still want to provide Internet access at home. High‐speed Internet service is no longer a luxury good. It has become an essential tool for succeeding in school. Teachers are increasingly incorporating digital tools in the classroom to enhance learning, assigning online homework and using email to communicate with parents and post grades online.

There are programs to help your family get online. One of them is a partnership between Connect2Compete and Cox. The program offers families with K‐12 students high‐speed Internet service for just $9.95 a month. If you have at least one child receiving free school meals from Exeter-West Greenwich Regional School District and have not had Cox Internet service for 90 days, please go to http://www.connect2compete.org/cox or call toll free 1‐855‐222‐3252 for more information. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to connect your family with the Internet in your home!

Although the equipment charges become a concern, everyoneon.org has other programs for low income families that don't qualify for the Cox offer. To see if you qualify visit everyoneon.org
